Its construction in the form of bunker was a challenge to military engineering. The outer walls facing the sea, 12 meters thick, are fitted with German Krupp guns (305mm, 190mm and 75mm) seated. Coming from Laguna Beach, California, the 6th Independent Battery Artillery Position, settled in Fort Copacabana starting history's most formidable ground war in Latin America.
