Description

The walk starts at the Fort of San Antonio, better known as the Barra Lighthouse, passing by the Barra shopping, stopping at the dam of deities, old mill generates energy for much of the city center and where today, the float Orixás, monuments carved in metal to honor the most important deities of Candomblé.
Leaving the dam, the route follows the valley of Nazareth and low enough to the city through the Americo Simas tunnel through port area and across the neighborhood's commercial Calçada where you see the beautiful building that houses the railway station, from which come the trains to the suburbs, we do Bonfim the hill, in whose basilica, full of ex-votos, providing the people of Salvador, in January, a tribute to the protector, with a walk of 8 km, from the church of Our Lady of Conception of the beach, to the top of the sacred hill. Leaving the Church of Bomfim, followed by the Monte Serrat, stopping on the edge and the strong Humaitá of which has a unique view of the city and the bay of all saints. In return, we have a parade, optional, for purchases of handicrafts in the market model, opposite the famous Lacerda Elevator, where you can watch the "wheels" of poultry and after returning to the hotel.
