Only a block from the center of the beautiful colonial city of León is located the HOTEL AUSTRIA. This new hotel opened its doors in May of 1998. Its location is ideal for tourists who visit León to admire its churches and colonial buildings. HOTEL AUSTRIA has 26 comfortable rooms (Mini suite, Triple, Double, Single) complete with Air Conditioner, cable TV, private bathroom with hot water (shower), telephone, wireless internet and a safe box. The mini suite also has a refrigerator and a bathtub.
Other services: Laundry, rent of the internet, fax, car rental, money exchange, coffee and snacks, restaurant, terrace with a roof (for about 30 people), 24 hour security and private parking.
Alhambra Hotel, Granada
Alhambra Hotel faces the Central Park and is directly across from the Cathedral in the true heart of colonial Granada. The historical center of Granada, which dates from 1524, includes many interesting stops on your short walk from the hotel to the shore of Lake Nicaragua. The hotel offers 60 spacious, air-conditioned rooms with air-conditioning, cable TV (with US channels), telephones and hot water. To insure the enjoyment of all guests we do not allow pets (except assistance dogs) or smoking.

- After breakfast, your guide takes you from Managua to theColonial City. Of León.
- Visit UNESCO world heritage site of León Viejo to examine the ruins of Nicaragua's early colonial capital at the foot of the smoking Momotombo Volcano.
- Then travel further north along the volcanoes of León to the rural village of San Jacinto, in the middle of the densely active Maribios Volcano chain, to visit with its population and see their fumarolic field, the result of water being superheated on a volcanic vein beneath the earth´s surface.
- Afterwards you are driven to the new city of León, founded in 1610, where you have lunch at La Perla Restaurant.
In the afternoon you do a city tour in the city where you i.a. see the cathedral, the house where the author Rubén Darío lived, as well as other Colonial buildings.

Day 3
In the early morning you are heading for famous Cerro Negro volcano. Together with your guide, you start ascending the volcano,which is a very new volcano, the youngest in Central America, having first appeared in April 1850. It consists of a gravelly basaltic cinder cone, which contrasts greatly with the surrounding verdant hillsides, and gives rise to its name, which means Black Hill. Since its birth in 1850, it has erupted approximately 23 times.
After you have done some hiking and observing the glowing lava inside the volcano, you ascend together with your guide who brings you back to León, where the afternoon is at your disposal. Lunch and dinner are not included

- Today you travel south to the active cone of Santiago at the Masaya Volcano National Park for hiking or just observing the inside of this big smoking crater.
- Continue to the historic city of Masaya, populated for more than 3,000 years and the arrival of the Spanish in the early 16th century organized the local artisans in small workshops for export.
-Masaya makes the world's finest hammocks, as well as wood, leather and clothing goods, all created by hand. Masaya's friendly population has restored their 19th century outdoor indigenous market for the sale of their hand made goods. After shopping in the market, lunch included at El Filete Restaurant.
-In the afternoon, you are brought to Central America's oldest European settlement from the early 16th century, Granada.

- In the afternoon you go on a boat ride trip at Granada Islets on Lake Nicaragua.
