Description
Enjoy the "lost city",the largest pre-colombian town discovered in South America which was build by the Tayrona Indians in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The beautiful surroundings will be discovered during the 6 day trekking trip.

Day 1
8:00 AM departure from Santa Marta in 4x4 or Chiva (colorful buses) until the region of Mamey (2 1/2 hours on the road), from the start of the climb until reaching the Colonos farm called donde Adán, place where you’ll stay the night in Hammocks. You may take a bath in one of the natural pools of the region; the guide will offer a sandwich with a drink and will provide the dinner.
Day 2
6:30 AM breakfast and departure at 7:15 AM the trekking will initiate with the descent to the valley formed by the river Buritaca, where you will find some indigenous construction grouped in a small village called Mutanashi. Continuing the trek for 4 hours until reaching the 2nd station where you will sleep.

Day 3
6:30 AM breakfast, 7:15 AM starts the trekking for approximately 6 hours through the indigenous roads and the Natural Park of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta , passing through the indigenous houses and in some sector you will find the footprints left behind from the antique habitants, you cross the river to reach the lost city.

Day 4
7:00 AM breakfast, at 8:00 AM you will start the visit of la ciudad perdida, you will see arqueological sights of the actual indigenous and in general how they adapted to their surroundings. During the visit you will be able to take a bath in the pozo de la Juventud, in which the indigenous legend say brings amazing benefits. After finalizing the tour generally a chat with the arqueologist present and you will read some notes from important arqueologic sights from the region.

Day 5
6:30 AM breakfast, 7:00 AM departure to start the trekking back and have luch at the cabaña Mutanshi, continue the descend until Adán, place where you will stay the night. Lunch and dinner prepared by the guide.
Day 6
7:00 AM breakfast, 8:00 AM a trek of 3 hours until Mamey where we will locate our transportation that will bring you back to Santa Marta . Approximately 4:00 pm time of reaching the city. The guide will be in charge of the drink.
