9:30 a.m. City Tour – Popa y Castillo

Traveling through residential neighborhoods along Cartagena´s bay. Visit to La Popa and its monastery and the Virgen de la Candelaria Chapel. A panoramic view of the city will be admired from this point. Visit to the Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas fortress, the greatest military engineering work of the New World. Visit to the Las Bovedas craft Center, ending with a sample of emeralds work at a jewelry store.

7:30 a.m. departure to Isla del Rosario (Hotel San Pedro de Majagua)
A 60 minutes boat ride you will encounter the archipielago of the Rosario Islands where you will be able to enjoy the crystalline water of the Colombian Caribbean with white beaches. Possibility to visit the Aquarium with a dolphin and shark show (Optional tour).
This tour includes a typical lunch that consists of fried fish, coconut rice, fried plantain, salad and one non-alcoholic beverage
This tour doesn't include the dock and environment tax and the entrance to the Aquarium. These must be paid directly by the passenger at the dock.

8 p.m. Rumba en Chiva
Nighttime tour in the well-known colored buses known as Chivas, with native open rum bar, music group on board and tasting of Cartagena fried dishes at a popular place, ending at a club where one can enjoy Cartagena’s night life

The chiva will wait 40 minutes at the club for the passengers. After the chiva leaves, passengers must go back to the hotel on their own.

-Departs from the hotel, visit the House Museum, Morgan Cave, West View, the blowing hole and the Mirador. Includes transportation with air conditioning, entrance to the monuments, drinks.

4:30 p.m. Galeón Bucanero (only operates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Galeon departs from a dock a block from the Hotel Sunrise. Transfer not included)

9:30 a.m. Tour Johnny Cay with Aquarium

Enjoy a short boat trip to the natural aquarium where you can rent diving masks or take glass-bottom boat tours to enjoy the marine life. After that, you arrive at Jhonny Cay, Johnny Cay is a key just off the coast that has been declared national park and is known for it’s prestigious beaches and crystal-clear waters where you may proceed, at your disposal, to have a typical lunch (lunch not included). Type of boat: taxi. In neither of the keys there's a dock to get off of the boat.
Duration: Approx. 5 hours. Departs at 9:30 & 10:30 hour of return in between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
