Crocodilo

Crocodilo first took part in the parade in 1987. at the end of the 80's there was a group created in Salvador that had the purpose of making the grounds shake. The Carnival gained another reptile, better yet there was the birth of the crocodile.
The Bloco of Ladeira da Barra, as it became known, entered with the right foot, the left foot and the all body at once: it was the crocodile dance, a choreography front-manned by Jorge Zárath that infected all and pleased Brazilin viewers on the television.
The corcodile promessed more. They brought the band Asa de Águia and made unforgettable parties the next two years. After that it brought Ricardo Chavez who made "O Bicho" a great musical success through Brazil.
