Abadas

The abadá is the most important thing for Carnival in Salvador. The Abada is your costume, your free pass to go in and out the chosen trio. The abada is a unique way to identify the associates usually dressed in colorful costumes, consisting of a T-shirt and shorts. Each associate receives 01 Abada for a specific day and band and each abada is different from the other.

The Abada is inspected by the security agents and has to have the security symbol on it. People without the security symbol on the Abada will not be authorized to go along with the Trio elétrico.
