Salvador de Bahia-Carnival!

Carnival in Salvador de Bahia is one week of huge party!! There are about 2 million inhabitants in Salvador, being the 3rd largest city in Brazil after Sao Paulo and Rio. Most of its people are descendends from the mixture between Africans, Europeans and Indians. They are very friendly people, who are very welcoming to outsiders. During Carnival, the party goes on with Streets Carnival Clubs, commanded by Carnival Bands, which are a must in Brazilian popular music. Normally, Salvador's carnival lasts 7 days, beginning on Thusday and ending on Wednesday.
