"ARARA" Package 4 days / 3 nights
1st Day
Pick up in Manaus and transfer to the Amazonat Jungle Lodge, reception
and accommodation in one of the chalets. Activity: Walk in and
around the lodge, followed with a jungle night trek (known as
the spider trek) later that evening to search for giant spiders.
2nd Day
After breakfast departure around 08.00AM for the Urubu River with
a visit to an Igapo (jungle growing in the river), a waterfall,
a visit to a local family with manioc farm, swimming and bird
observation. Return around 01.00PM. You will have time for a refreshing
shower, followed with lunch and departure for the first jungle
hike with the possibility to spend night in one of the survival
camps.
3th Day
If the night was spent in the survival camp the return trip is
made towards the basic lodge with arrival planned around 09.00AM.
Alternative; when you spent the night in your apartment, after
breakfast a second jungle hike is planned for this morning with
return at noon for lunch . Departure after lunch for a trip to
the giant Amazon River at 01.30PM. The visitor will learn of the
natural wealth given by this river to this location; observe a
local Meeting of the Waters with the presence of grey and pink
dolphins all year round, bird observation, visit a field with
the giant water lilies, the "Vitória Régia", and
go fishing for the famous piranhas. The return trip is initiated
with a sunset view of the Amazon followed with alligator spotting.
4th Day
After breakfast check-out followed by the transfer back to Manaus-city.
Here we will make a short (outside) visit to the famous Amazon
Theater and a boattrip to the unique Meeting of the Waters where
the brown water of the Solimões river meets the black water
of the Negro River. Around midday transfer to the International
Airport of Manaus.

light weight pants, T-shirts, long sleeved shirts, shorts, bathing

extra batteries, small first aid kit.
