This bustling, commercial city feeds off trade with Colombia, and spreads its business across a green-as-green mountain slope, down steep streets, past old men playing chess in the leafy plazas, and across the footpath. The city is called 'La Ciudad de la Cordialidad' (the Friendly City), perhaps this is because everyone has a smile, and something they want to sell you.
