Day 2 ANTIGUA CULTURAL WALKING TOUR
After breakfast, departure from Hotel at 9:00 a.m. Our route for this day will bring us to one of the most ancient cities on the American Continent; Antigua, Guatemala, founded by the Spanish in 1543 during the period of the Conquest. Antigua Guatemala has been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit: Captains Palace, Cathedral, La Merced Church, historic streets and the National Museum. You are free to stroll around at the end of the tour.

Day 3 ANTIGUA – QUETZALTENANGO
After breakfast, departure from Hotel in Antigua at 8:00 a.m. You will visit Quetzaltenango which is perched high up in the western part of the country amongst the mountains and volcanoes, hot springs and dense forest. Here is a city of neo classic architecture and a large Mayan community that you will explore. Day 4 QUETZALTENANGO - HUEHUETENANGO
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 a.m. from the Hotel in Quetzaltenango to visit the Indian villages with living culture: Totonicapán, San Francisco el Alto, Salcaja, Zunil, and in the afternoon transfer to Huehuetenango lodging.

Day 5 HUEHUETENANGO – TODOS SANT0S CUCHUMATAN – LAKE ATITLAN
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 a.m. from the Hotel in Huehuetenango, to Todos Santos Cuchumatan. The region named “LOS ALTOS” refers to the towns located high up in the mountains where you will encounter both indigenous population and spectacular sweeping views across the landscape.

Day 6 LAKE ATITLAN TOUR
After breakfast, departure at 8:15 a.m. from the Hotel in Panajachel. On a boat tour during the morning you will visit the three most alluring of the Maya / Tzuthuiles towns: Santiago Atitlan, San Marcos and San Juan, We stop in every village to learn their history, customs and traditions. After this spectacular tour around the lake return to Panajachel, the rest of the afternoon is free.

Day 7 LAKE ATITLAN – CHICHICASTENANGO – ANTIGUA
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 a.m. from the Hotel in Panajachel to Chichicastenango, Central America’s largest market. This spectacular and brightly colored market is truly a magical experience and a great insight into the Mayan Culture. You can witness various religious and pre-Hispanic ceremonies being celebrated in the Cathedral and will be left with a unique memory from this must have Guatemalan experience.

Day 8 ANTIGUA – COPAN HONDURAS
Early morning departure from Antigua, 5:00 a.m. & transfer to Copan. We will stop on the road for breakfast and then continue our trip to Copan. Check in to Hotel, free lunch. In the afternoon, you will discover the ruins of Copan & the archeological park of Copán, also nominated for a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the best source for information about the ancient Maya civilization. Lunch where you wish, followed by a visit to the archeological zone “Las Sepulturas” After the tour, return to the hotel.

Day 9 COPAN HONDURAS – QUIRIGUA – RIO DULCE
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 a.m. Upon leaving Copan you will make your way to the archeological site of Quirigua which has the highest stelas in the Mayan world. These stelas were constructed between 692 and 810 AD in the pre classical age. You will continue the day by traveling to Rio Dulce to visit the beautiful San Felipe Castle before making your way to your accommodation for the night

Day 10 TOUR RIO DULCE - FLORES
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 a.m. Your senses will be overloaded as you take in the tropical landscape and variety of Rio Dulce and Lake Izabal. Enjoy a boat tour throughout this wonderful and exotic region.

Day 11 FLORES – TOUR YAXHA - FLORES
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 am to Yaxha. You will make your way to the important architectural site of Yaxha. This was a sacred place for the Mayan people because of its lagoons’ unique color: a beautiful green jade.
After Yaxha you shall make your way back to Flores where you will spend another night In Flores.

Day 12 FLORES – CEIBAL - PETEXBATUN
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 am You will make your way to Ceibal: another important Mayan archeological site in this region. Here you will discover the marvelous and crocodile infested River Passion set in a stunning tropical jungle.
After the tour you shall head to Petexbatun your night’s accommodation.

Day 13 PETEXBATUN - TOUR AGUATECA - FLORES
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 am to Aguateca site. A nature lover’s paradise. The lagoon here is fed by the River Passion and is surrounded by an unforgettable tropical Mayan landscape.

Day 14 FLORES – TOUR TIKAL – FLORES
After breakfast, departure at 8:00 am to Tikal. You will make your way to the historically largest and most important one time Mayan civilization: Tikal. Here deep in the tropical Petén jungle you will experience where this ancient civilization made their home and made important astrological, mathematical, architectural and artistic discoveries and advancements.

Day 15 FLORES - COBAN
After breakfast, departure at 8:30 a.m. to Coban. The drive takes 5 hours to Coban. You will arrive directly at the hotel and later in the afternoon visit the city of Coban. After the visit to the City, free dinner and return to the hotel.

Day 16 COBAN – SEMUC CHAMPEY – CUEVAS DE LANQUIN - COBAN
After breakfast, departure at 7:30 a.m. to Semuc Champey and Caves Lanquin. The region has a profound natural beauty where cloud forests, orchids, waterfalls, crystalline natural pools and caves offer a mix of beauty, history and adventure in a way that few destinations in Latin America can offer. In the afternoon you return to Coban for one more night in Hotel in Coban.

After breakfast, departure at 8:30 a.m. to Guatemala City. The drive will take 5 hours to Guatemala City, during which you will have wonderful views of the mountains. Lunch in Guatemala City, free afternoon.

Day 18 CITY TOUR GUATEMALA
After breakfast, departure at 9:00 a.m. Discover Guatemala’s capital during the city tour. The capital was built after 1774 and features several characteristics of Spanish cities, such as a large central plaza surrounded by the main civil and religious buildings: the National Palace of Culture and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Guatemala City also embraces contemporary architecture, reflected in hotels, office buildings and malls, located throughout the city.
