Itinerary
Day 1: Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales
Reception at Punta Arenas airport. Transfer by the Patagonian pampas to Hotel in Puerto Natales (150 miles, 3 hours). Briefings of the program, dinner and accommodation.
Day 2: Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine National Park
2 hours travel by van to Torres del Paine National Park. Passing through the typical estancias in patagonia. At noon arrival at Torres del Paine National Park, entering by main gate of Laguna Amarga. Trekking to the base of Las Torres passing by forests and hillsides with moraine (7 hours round trip). From this place has been photographed three pink granite towers, which have made this park famous. Night and dinner at Refugio Chileno, located in the Valley and Rio Ascencio.
Day 3: Río Ascencio – Refugio Los Cuernos
5 hours trekking by Paso de los Cuernos along Lake Nordenskjold and hanging glacier on Mountain Almirante Nieto. Dinner and lodging at Refugio Los Cuernos.
Day 4: Refugio Los Cuernos – Valle del Francés (French Valley)
Trekking to Valle del Frances. The most beautiful valley of the park, surrounded by hanging glaciers and an amphitheater of granite rock walls, making it a unique setting in the world (4 hours). Then trek to Lake Pehoe, beautiful turquoise lake (2 hours). Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge Paine Grande.
Day 5: Gray Lake Andy Navigation
Trekking to Grey Lake (3 hours). We visit the viewpoint of the glacier and we will try to reach the shore where the icebergs have a deep blue color. (Paine, in Tehuelche language means blue). After lunch, navigation on Gray II, sailing through the icebergs and Gray Lake. Arrival on the beach, transfer to Lake Pehoe, sleeping in Camping Pehoe route, with a wonderful view of the Horns of Paine, and French Valley Paine Grande.
Day 6: Mirador del Cóndor – Puerto Natales
Treking to Mirador del Condor, with a magnificent view from the heights around the massif of Paine and ponds and lakes (Honda, Sarmiento and Green), to the Quebrada Fair. A wonderful way to say goodbye to the park. Transfer to Puerto Natales. Dinner, lodging.
Day 7: Puerto Natales – Seno Otway – Airport
Transfer by van to Punta Arenas airport. On the way we visit the Seno Otway (Penguin), located 70 km northwest of Punta Arenas is the colony of Magellanic penguins that return every year to this area for breeding and nesting. Arriving to Punta Arenas to take the the return flight. End of our services.
